Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling cabinets with precision, following detailed schematics and blueprints, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, woodworking, or assembly experience to contribute to a dynamic production environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble cabinets.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components.
- Ensure all parts are assembled according to specifications, maintaining quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify and correct defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency.
- Follow safety guidelines related to heavy lifting, use of tools, and workspace safety.
Experience
- Prior experience in cabinetry assembly, woodworking, or related manufacturing roles preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery is highly desirable.
- Construction experience including carpentry, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, or siding is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction materials such as rebar installation, caulking, electrical wiring, plumbing, or restoration work is beneficial.
- Familiarity with construction estimating or handyman skills can be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and equipment operation.
