The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our Program Managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, processes, and programs while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator provides operational, administrative, and program support to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with agency policies, Residential Care Licensing standards, and CLSD guidelines.
Working closely with Program Managers, Team Leaders, Direct Support Professionals, individuals supported, families, and community partners, the Program Coordinator helps coordinate staffing, documentation, compliance, training, and daily program operations.
What You'll Do
As the Program Coordinator, you will:
- Support Program Managers with the day-to-day coordination of residential and community support programs.
- Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and employee onboarding.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Review and audit documentation to ensure compliance with agency, licensing, and funder requirements.
- Assist with incident reporting, tracking, and follow-up.
- Coordinate appointments, assessments, and person-centered planning meetings.
- Maintain client and employee records with a high level of confidentiality.
- Track mandatory employee training and certification renewals.
- Assist with quality assurance activities and Residential Care Licensing inspections.
- Order program supplies and assist with financial and administrative processes.
- Build positive relationships with individuals supported, families, employees, and community partners.
- Support Program Managers with special projects and organizational initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma.
- Post-secondary education in Human Services, Disability & Community Support, Social Services, Health Care, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, or mental health disabilities.
- Previous administrative, scheduling, or program coordination experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
