Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various concrete-related tasks, supporting the successful completion of construction projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to operate and handle a variety of tools and equipment. Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is a plus.
Duties
- Assist with pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete to meet project specifications
- Prepare work sites by setting up forms, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and power tools safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools for mixing, cutting, and shaping materials
- Perform basic welding, machining, or assembly tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Support the installation of reinforcement materials like rebar or mesh as required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse settings preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with heavy equipment operation beneficial
- Ability to operate forklift, power tools, hand tools, and basic welding equipment
- Knowledge of machining, assembly processes, and use of hand or power tools is advantageous
- Experience with heavy equipment operation such as cranes or skid steers is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good teamwork skills and attention to safety procedures are essential
- Prior experience with welding or machining is desirable but not mandatory
