Swiss Chalet & Harvey's located at 5658 Signal Hill Centre SW, Calgary, AB T3H 3P8 is looking to hire part-time and full time off premise/take out food attendant with exceptional customer service skills.
The ideal candidate MUST have OPEN Availability to work and will have the following skills:
- Provide exceptional customer service to take-out patrons of the restaurant
- Help customers to make food and beverage decisions
- Inform customer of daily specials, deals and promotions
- Operate a cash register and process debit, credit card and cash transactions
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and on time
- Pack orders in a timely & accurate manner
- Quickly and promptly addressing customers' concerns and/or complaints
- Be able to multi-task and work in a face pace environment
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- 1 year experience within the restaurant industry
- Prior customer service experience (restaurant, food services, hospitality)
- Cash register, transaction processing and or POS systems experience
- Safe Food Handling certificate is a strong asset
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to work mornings
- Have open availability, weekdays & weekends
- Physically fit to meet the bending, standing and lifting requirements
- Be able to handle pressure
- Have exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Passion for the food and/or restaurant industry
