The program offers classes after-school hours, for string instruments that include violin, viola, cello and drumline programs for children and youth for all skill levels, in a light and supportive environment.

The Role:
We are looking for the right person to advance Harmony Project Sooke’s mission through strong management, effective program delivery, and meaningful engagement with students, parents,funders, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program organization and operations, and report to the board.
- Manage the budget and provide leadership to staff.
- Provide direction and support for organizing public performances.
- Represent Harmony Project Sooke in the community while networking with key funders and stakeholders.
- Work in partnership with the board to access program funding.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in music and performance.
- Experience overseeing organizational budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children.
- Must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check prior to work commencement.
- Living in or close to Sooke, and knowledge of the community, is an asset.
