One full-time contract Supervisor, Personal Support Worker, LVP Position, starting on June 22, 2026, and ending on September 6, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week.

Your Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Reports to the Director of Care. Responsible for the supervision, guidance, hiring, mentoring, and ongoing performance development of PSW team members and PSW students.
- Ensuring consistent PSW check ins are occurring regularity to provide sufficient support.
- Coordinates team meetings and facilitates education and training for PSW staff.
- Creates schedules and ensures sufficient PSW coverage for all required shifts.
- Guides staff in the delivery of culturally inclusive care planning activities.
- Promotes the health and wellbeing of the residents.
- Maintains confidentiality of information relating to residents and their families.
- Follows up on resident and family concerns as they arise and relate to the PSW team.
- Creates a safe working environment where staff and residents feel a sense of belonging.
- Ensures RHRA and Public Health measures are practiced, and areas of non-compliance promptly addressed.
- Works in alignment with the Agency’s commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency.
- Willing to fill PSW and RPN shifts when needs arise,
- Participates in care conferences.
- Will be a part of the On-call leader rotation requires a weekend every 4-6 weeks.
- The above tasks are representative but not all inclusive.
Your Talents and Experience
- A Valid certificate with CNO in god standing.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as RPN, and one year in a leadership capacity.
- Prior experience in geriatric, or care home setting preferred with a sound understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors and their families.
- Good oral, verbal and written communication required.
- Able to build authentic and sustainable relationships with team members, residents, and community partners.
- Follows through on commitments to build an environment of trust and accountability.
- Sound judgement and ability to work within legislation pertinent to the operations of a health care facility including those through Public Health and the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and takes initiative to ensure resident needs are met.
- This position requires flexible work hours to meet supervisory needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Point Click Care and Point of
Care documentation an asset
- Must be available for all shifts including days, evening, nights and weekends
