Pond Maintenance Technician (Training Provided)
We’re a Victoria-based pond and water feature company looking to add a reliable new team member to our Maintenance department. If you enjoy being outside, working with your hands, and taking pride in leaving a site cleaner and better than you found it, you’ll fit in great here.
This role focuses on servicing and maintaining existing ponds and water features. You’ll help with routine cleanings, seasonal maintenance, and general upkeep. No experience is required — we’re happy to train the right person with a good attitude and strong work ethic. From time to time, you may also assist our Construction team during busy periods.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cleaning and maintaining ponds and water features (routine + seasonal work)
- Basic site upkeep and organization (tools, vehicle, materials)
- Working as part of a crew and following safety procedures
- Communicating professionally on client properties
- Occasionally supporting construction installs/rebuilds as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Physically able to handle labour tasks (lifting, bending, carrying)
- Dependable, punctual, and respectful on site
- Must live in the Greater Victoria area and be able to start soon
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid Class 5 licence (to commute to job sites)
