Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting various accounting functions using a range of industry-standard software. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Ontraccr, Raken.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure consistency between internal records and external statements.
- Assist with payroll processing using systems like ADP, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, and Workday.
- Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing reports and conducting account analysis.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures while supporting audit preparations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial documentation and reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within a professional setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks,
- Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes and account reconciliation techniques.
- Experience with payroll systems including Quickbooks.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial services and budgeting processes.
- Basic math skills essential for account analysis and financial reporting.
- Prior experience working with multiple accounting platforms is a plus. Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
