We are currently seeking a Seasonal Class 1 Truck Driver to join our operations team during our busy summer harvest period. This position is ideal for a reliable, safety-conscious driver who enjoys local work and being part of a hardworking team.
Position Details:
- Seasonal Term: Estimated dates of work are June 15 to August 30
- Work Hours: Approximately 40 to 50 hours per week
- Location: All work is within 100 km of Abbotsford
- Rate: $28-30/hr based on experience
- Schedule: Weekday shifts and weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 transport trucks on designated routes
- Complete all required documentation and maintain logs
- Maintain equipment in clean and safe working order
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff
- Communicate effectively with the shipping team and logistics manager
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Clean ICBC “N” Driver’s Abstract (to be submitted with application)
- Reefer and Dry Van experience
- 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
- 18 Speed Manual Transmission
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Ability to work flexible hours and in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to legally drive commercially in both Canada and the USA
- No LMIA
