Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food service, kitchen operations, and food handling. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated applicants eager to develop their skills in food preparation and customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation and serving areas
- Assist with food presentation and plating to meet quality standards
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to comply with health and safety regulations
- Support kitchen staff with meal preparation during busy periods
- Ensure all food items are stored correctly and inventory levels are managed appropriately
- Follow sanitation guidelines to keep the work environment clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety protocols
