Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Baker. This role involves creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Prior experience in the food industry, especially in baking, is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adheres to food safety standards and regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow recipes accurately and ensure consistent quality across all baked goods
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Experience
- Proven experience baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, baking tools, and packaging techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment will be considered a plus
This position is based in a commissary kitchen and is responsible for supporting the baking needs of our catering and delivery operations. We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to quality in everything they do.
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
