Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. Duties
- Develop and review project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry tools for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage project timelines through effective time management strategies to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Prepare and review construction estimates using accurate estimating techniques.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on-site.
- Monitor project costs and resource allocation to optimize efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality control, and adherence to schematics.
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and milestones.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost control measures.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and construction safety standards.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred but not mandatory.
