Job Summary
The Marina Bistro is a seasonal restaurant with outdoor seating only. While cooking is the primary job, there is a liquor license so one of the two persons on shift will need to be 19 with a serving it right ticket. Foodsafe is also necessary. Experience preferred though we can train someone who has the right aptitude. $22/hr plus some overtime and great tips. We have an overall staff of 12 at the marina and the Bistro has 1-2. The best place to be in summer!
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual method
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle food with care, following proper handling procedures to maintain hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing tables.
- Follow all restaurant policies related to health, safety, and sanitation standards
Skills
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude and strong customer service skills
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
