Residential New Construction HVAC Installer

Legacy Heating & Cooling is one of Alberta’s fastest-growing HVAC & Plumbing contractors. We are expanding our Residential New Construction division in Calgary and are currently seeking HVAC Installers at all levels to join our growing team.
The Residential New Construction HVAC Installer is a hands-on, hourly position responsible for performing HVAC installations in new home construction while maintaining Legacy’s quality, safety, and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Rough-in and ductwork installations in residential new home construction
- Installation of HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, water tanks, and IAQ systems
- Perform HVAC finals and fix-ups as required
- Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and joist charts for hole cutting
- Ensure installations meet company, manufacturer, safety, and building code standards
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Communicate effectively with other trades and team members
- Follow and participate in Legacy’s Safety Program
- Attend required company meetings and events
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1-year residential HVAC installation experience (all levels considered)
- Sheet metal certification considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and related building codes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job requirements
- Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- HVAC install: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Alberta Drivers License (preferred)
