AB Millwork Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Millwork Installer to join our team. We specialize in commercial architectural millwork including custom casework, reception desks, feature walls, retail fixtures, wood doors, and interior finishes.
This position involves both shop fabrication and on-site installation throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom millwork and cabinetry from shop drawings
- Operate woodworking equipment and power tools safely
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings
- Assemble and install commercial millwork and casework
- Install reception desks, feature walls, wood doors, panels, slat walls, and custom millwork
- Perform site measurements and verify dimensions
- Complete deficiency work and final adjustments
- Load, unload, and transport millwork materials as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Travel to project sites throughout Alberta as required
- Work overtime and extended hours when required to meet project schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cabinetmaking or commercial millwork experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Experience with commercial millwork installation
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and handle millwork materials safely
- Must be willing to travel for out-of-town projects when required
- Must be flexible with work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
Pay: $18.94-$28.00 per hour
