About the Role
D & B Exteriors LTD is seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and experienced roofer who can take full ownership of residential roofing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- Install asphalt shingles, underlayment, vents, flashing, and all roofing components to company and manufacturer standards
- Complete tear-offs, re-roofs, and repairs with minimal supervision
- Accurately measure, cut, and fit materials
- Install and seal valleys, step flashing, drip edge, and detail work
- Identify and repair roof leaks and problem areas
- Work safely on steep pitches, heights, and in varying weather conditions
- Operate roofing tools and equipment (nailers, compressors, cutters, harness systems)
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Assist with or complete other exterior tasks when needed, such as:
- Soffit & fascia repairs
- Eavestrough adjustments
- Minor siding or cladding work
- Prep work for exterior projects
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and complete full roofing jobs
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, ventilation, and building components
- Comfortable working at heights and on steep roofs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic roofing tools (specialty tools can be discussed)
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and perform physical labour
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and workmanship
Assets
- Experience leading a helper or small crew
- Fall protection certification
- First aid certification
- Experience with metal roofing or specialty roofing systems
- Ability to perform additional exterior work (soffit, fascia, siding, cladding)
