Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Comfort Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will meet with homeowners, assess their comfort needs, and recommend HVAC solutions that best fit their homes and budgets.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience from the initial consultation through project completion.
This position requires a proactive sales professional who is comfortable generating referral opportunities, networking within the community, and actively developing new business in addition to working company-provided leads.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to assess their heating, cooling, and home comfort needs
- Recommend customized HVAC solutions based on customer requirements and budget
- Conduct in-home consultations and system evaluations
- Prepare and present clear, professional proposals
- Manage the sales process from initial consultation through project closeout
- Collaborate with coordinators, customer service representatives, and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up communications
- Build customer trust through honest, solution-based recommendations
- Assist customers with financing options and applicable rebate programs.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly throughout the sales process
- Verify site conditions and installation requirements before project handoff
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospective customers through consistent follow-up activities
- Follow up on unsold estimates and nurture long-term sales opportunities
- Generate referral opportunities from existing customers, builders, contractors, and community relationships
- Participate in local events, networking opportunities, home shows, and community outreach initiatives
- Work closely with service technicians to develop replacement and upgrade opportunities
- Track key performance indicators and participate in regular sales reviews

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Customer-first mindset with a consultative sales approach
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with homeowners
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
- Experience in HVAC, home services, construction, or related industries is an asset but not required
- Experience using CRM software
