We are seeking motivated individuals in the HVAC trade. Must be punctual and respectable. The role will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, products and systems. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and partake in on call schedule.
Requirements:
· 2+ years experience as an HVAC Installation Technician preferred
· Valid ODP certificate (Ozone Depletion Prevention)
· Gas Fitter 1 or 2 ticket required
· Must have (clean) valid driver's licence
· Must have a clean Record (No Criminal Record)
· Must be equipped with all the required hand tools
· Must have WHMIS and Working at Heights Safety training
· Previous Fireplace installation/repair experience an asset
Responsibilities:
· Accountable and responsible for delivering high customer satisfaction
· Analyze, repair, restore equipment and systems to full operation and recommend repairs if necessary
· Participate in the on-call, after-hours rotation- Must be able to work occasional overtime, after hours, weekends and holidays
· Responsible for efficient and effective completion of installation under TSSA guidelines
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
· Responsible for completing work / service orders within the allotted time frames
· Ensure all installation/service work is done according to quality standards
· Report and communicate with dispatch according to company procedures
· Assist with work overflow as needed
· Follow all company policies and procedures
· Adhere to safety policy
Salary is commensurate with experience.
