SUMMARY
This role supports the Shop Supervisor, and involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
- Make field service calls to repair.
- Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks & trailers on site and within the shop.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with GM, Ford pickups & Kenworth trucks will be an asset
- 421A Certification
- Must have own tools
- Automotive experience preferred but not required
- Mobile field service experience is needed.
- Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
- Safety certification inspections
- Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skill
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges

- Expected Base Salary: $52.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
