Warehouse Material Handler (NOC75101)
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler (NOC75101) to manage and perform all warehouse-related tasks, excluding driving duties. This role involves accurately receiving, storing, and shipping products while ensuring safety and efficiency. The associate will collaborate with the internal team to maintain inventory control and streamline operations.
Hourly Wage: $23.50
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, unpack, inspect, count, and organize incoming shipments.
· Pick, pack, and prepare products for outgoing shipment according to orders.
· Prepare and attach inventory labels to products for tracking inventory and shipment preparation.
· Wrap, strap, and secure products to ensure safe dispatch and transportation.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
· Operate industrial trucks and loaders (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely loading and unloading from trucks via loading docks.
· Conduct industrial truck and other warehouse equipment inspections.
· Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
· Receive and unload office furniture and supplies deliveries, and assist in assembling and moving office furniture.
· Various other hands-on tasks, including opening containers, weighing and verifying materials.
Qualifications:
· Residency in Nova Scotia required.
· Prior warehouse or inventory management experience.
· Forklift driving experience required.
· Strong oral communication skills in English.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
· Familiarity with inventory systems and scanning equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Pay: $23.50 per hour
