Your main responsibilities
As Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on grading, washing, and packaging equipment;

Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues;

Assist with diagnosing and repairing motors, sensors, conveyors, and control systems;

Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance;

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues;
-
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation;
-
Work safely in compliance with company policies and food safety standards;
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.
Desired profile
-
Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or processing environment;
-
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, wiring, etc.);

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability;
-
Ability to read basic schematics or technical drawings is an asset;
-
Experience with food processing or agricultural equipment is an advantage but not required;
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety;
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
-
Trade certification or equivalent experience preferred (Millwright or similar);
-
Basic electrical training or demonstrated experience required;
-
Must be physically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a production environment.
