We are seeking passionate and experienced provincially certified teachers with Advanced Placement (AP) teaching experience to join our remote education team.
We are hiring across multiple AP subjects. Applicants may specialize in one subject or several subjects and are not expected to teach every subject listed.

In this role, you will deliver engaging online instruction within your area of expertise, support students preparing for AP coursework and examinations, and contribute to the development of high-quality educational materials.
You will also lead live online masterclasses and webinars for students and parents. These sessions may include subject instruction, AP exam guidance, study strategies, program information and live question-and-answer discussions.
The ideal candidate is an engaging educator and confident presenter who can explain complex concepts clearly, connect with both students and parents, and represent our educational programs professionally.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality online group classes and tutoring sessions in your AP subject area
- Teach students using the current AP course framework, learning objectives and exam expectations
- Explain challenging concepts through clear examples, visual demonstrations and effective problem-solving strategies
- Prepare structured lesson plans, presentations, activities, assessments and learning resources
- Help students develop AP multiple-choice and free-response question strategies
- Support students with assignments, unit tests, mock examinations and official AP exam preparation
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Lead live online masterclasses and webinars for students and parents
- Present AP subject content, study strategies, exam expectations and educational program information
- Answer questions from students and parents during live webinar and masterclass sessions
- Create an engaging and professional presentation environment for larger online audiences
- Communicate with students, parents and education team members regarding student needs and progress
- Create, review and improve lesson materials, worksheets, practice questions and assessments
- Ensure instructional materials are accurate and aligned with current College Board AP course frameworks
- Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning needs and abilities
- Use online teaching platforms, presentation tools and educational technology effectively
- Collaborate with the education team to improve courses, masterclasses and student outcomes
Requirements
- Valid provincial or territorial teaching certification in Canada
- Previous teaching experience in at least one relevant AP subject
- Strong understanding of the current AP curriculum, exam format and scoring expectations
- Applicants are not required to teach all listed subjects
- Strong classroom teaching, tutoring or online instruction experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable teaching both group classes and individual students remotely
- Comfortable presenting live webinars or masterclasses to students and parents
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging and accessible manner
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prepare professional lesson plans, presentations and educational resources
- Reliable internet connection and a professional remote teaching environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in the AP Course Audit
- AP Summer Institute, College Board workshop or other AP professional development
- Experience using AP Classroom
- Experience evaluating AP-style multiple-choice or free-response questions
- Experience developing curricula, recorded lessons, assessments or educational content
- Experience leading webinars, parent information sessions, workshops or larger group presentations
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction, accommodations and strategies for supporting diverse learners
- Laboratory teaching experience for biology, chemistry or physics positions
