Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in dental assisting and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental coding systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Skills:
-HARP certified a must
- Dental receptionist experience
- CEREC experience is a plus
- Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in dentistry
