Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Keep work stations organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Support the serving staff by maintaining a clean and efficient dining environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude
- Basic kitchen experience including food preparation and cooking skills, cutting is desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending as needed
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen setting
Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
