Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner when required
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling procedures within the food industry is a plus
- Experience in serving or customer interaction is beneficial but not mandatory; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Prior kitchen experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork will be highly valued
