Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-service oriented Human Resource Representative to support the Enterprise
Recruitment function, providing talent acquisition assistance to Recruiters, hiring leaders, and candidates. You will be responsible for
anticipating, assessing, and executing on talent acquisition processes, while ensuring accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
This posting is for a six-month term opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Enterprise Recruiters in developing and maintaining excellent service-oriented relationships with customers
across the enterprise.
- Assist Enterprise Recruiters and Line Management with the delivery of talent acquisition services including;
- Update candidate status and movements in e-recruitment (e.g., acceptance, rejection, rescind offer).
- Create and distribute job offer letters with input from the Recruiter and line management.
- Conduct all hire-related actions in SAP system, and complete all hire-related administrative processes (e.g., PRA and
network access requests).
- Update, evaluate, and interpret employee and organizational data in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to HR business
processes and procedures.
- Support Major Recruitments section with actions and hiring activities for large-scale hiring initiatives (e.g., Summer Student,
Trades Training Programs).
- Apply and verify wage and salary practices in relation to talent acquisition practices, collective agreements and Corporate
guidelines.
- Support day-to-day administrative and transactional tasks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition
process.
- Assist with posting positions both internally and externally (including posting on various external websites), liaising with HR
staff, line management, and external contacts as necessary.
- Respond to candidate employment inquiries and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Grade 12 with completion of specialized courses in Human Resources, plus a minimum of two years' related
experience in an administrative role, of which one year is in a human resources capacity;
OR
- Minimum of Grade 12, plus a minimum of three years' related experience in an administrative role, of which one year is in a
human resources capacity.
- Strong detail orientation and ability to maintain accuracy while working in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to organize, schedule, and complete work on various concurrent assignments with
