G-Class Night Driver (5-Ton Truck) –

$26.66 per hour | Full-Time | Night Shift
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 10:00 AM

Cardinal Couriers is seeking a reliable and safety-focused G-Class Night Driver to join our team in London, Ontario. This role requires driving a 5-ton truck and completing scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the night to support our early-morning delivery network.
If you have at least 2 years of experience operating a 5-ton truck, enjoy working independently, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company 5-ton truck on assigned routes.
- Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries to ensure pre-8:00 AM service commitments are met.
- Load, unload, and transport packages and freight safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Accurately complete and submit all required delivery and vehicle documentation.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and team members.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
- Keep vehicles and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of 5-ton truck driving experience (required).
- 2–3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is considered an asset.
