Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed and patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting the health and well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide medication counseling to patients.
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, and therapeutic effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Administer injections and vaccinations (if certified).
- Conduct medication reviews and patient consultations.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations, professional standards, and pharmacy policies.
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and technicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive and professional pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Authorization to administer injections is an asset.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a community pharmacy setting preferred but not required.
