Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical schematics, blueprints, and the ability to work with various power and hand tools. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of mechanical equipment.
- Working on but not limited to motors, control panels, PLC controls, gear boxed, drives, etc.
- Perform routine inspections on machinery equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on machinery equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Programming and automation.
- Familiarity with various power tools, hand tools, and safety practices related to electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure timely compliance with regulatory inspections, permitting, and testing requirements related to mechanical systems.
- Maintain all necessary records and reports related to mechanical inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and perform various tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including hot, cold, and damp conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, especially in the case of emergencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
