Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity
- Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with health regulations to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product usage, and available retail options to enhance their experience
- Upsell retail products effectively by understanding client preferences and explaining benefits clearly
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Build lasting client relationships through excellent communication skills and professional rapport
Skills
- Strong expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic salon environment
- Ability to upsell products confidently while prioritizing client needs
- Excellent communication skills to understand client desires and explain services effectively
- Experience with retail sales to promote products that complement styling services
- Proficiency in front desk operations such as appointment scheduling, cash handling, and client management

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
