Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. Independed contractor, Casual hrs, working form home and office as needed. This role involves assisting with various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, data management, and HRIS administration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, administrative experience, and familiarity with HR technology systems such as Workday, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and others. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth HR operations and fostering a positive employee experience.
Duties
- Support talent acquisition efforts through ATS platforms like iCIMS and Lever, including data collection and candidate sourcing.
- Assist with onboarding processes, employee record maintenance, and HRIS data entry using systems such as Ceridian.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and participate in the interviewing process to support recruiting initiatives.
- Manage employee relations by responding to inquiries and facilitating communication between staff and management.
- Contribute to training & development programs by organizing sessions and tracking participation.
- Support payroll processing activities, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Assist with change management initiatives and project management tasks related to HR programs or system implementations.
- Maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures while ensuring data accuracy within HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics and assist in data collection for audits or process improvements.
- Provide administrative support for human resources functions including one-on-one evaluation, documentation, filing, and correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR environments.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Ceridian, Kronos, or PeopleSoft.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems like iCIMS or Lever is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP or Kronos is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry, data collection, and administrative tasks related to human resources functions.
- Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, employee relations, or training & development is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
