Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Experience with dental software such as Tracker, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and updating patient information
- Support the dental reception area by greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out processes
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant credential required
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and clinical support
- Familiarity with dental software including TRACKER preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Ability to interpret medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
- MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
