Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations to maintain high standards of food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during service hours.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring quality presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food service and handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques.
- Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff effectively.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus.
