VIP Auto Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to become part of our expanding team. As a reputable and established automotive repair shop in Calgary, we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and maintaining a strong work ethic. We are looking for a dedicated individual with extensive experience in all areas of auto body repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural repairs and frame straightening
- Replace, fit, and align body panels accurately
- Complete welding tasks, including MIG and spot welding
- Fill, sand, and prepare surfaces for refinishing
- Repair minor and major dents
- Conduct rust repairs and apply corrosion protection
- Perform masking and paint preparation
- Operate collision measuring systems and related repair equipment
- Carry out refinishing and paint blending techniques
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles following repairs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on auto body repair experience
- Must supply your own tools
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, professional, and consistent work ethic
- Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
