Camp Hurontario, a boys' summer camp located on a beautiful island of the Georgian Bay, is looking to hire a counsellor/canoe tripper to join us for the month of July, 2026. Leave the city behind and spend a month working with boys aged 7-16 in groups no larger than eight at a time, with some time spent in camp and some time spent on a canoe trip.
Candidates must be 18 or older (by June 1st) to apply and must have good canoeing skills with past experience working with children, ideally in outdoor/summer camp settings.
Candidates must have (or be able to soon obtain) an in-date Bronze Cross certification and Standard First Aid with CPR to be considered for the role.
Join our friendly co-ed staff of 110 to spend a month making new friends and living with those who share your interest in working with children in a beautiful outdoor environment. Aside from your salary, full accommodation and all meals will be provided by the camp during the work term, beginning in late June and ending in late July.
