Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety.
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
- Foster strong communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and they leave satisfied.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with clients and team members.
