Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Ability to competently prepare dishes on the Grill, & Sautee stations
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked safely and handled in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and accidents
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in grill and sautee cooking, pastry experience would be a plus
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling procedures
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience with food service equipment and kitchen tools is advantageous
- A passion for delivering high-quality meals and providing excellent customer service
