Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, medical terminology, and experience with electronic health records systems such as MedAccess and Cerner. This role involves diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, coordinating care, and promoting overall wellness within a community-focused healthcare setting. The physician will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services, including pain management, pediatrics, home care, and medication administration, ensuring patients receive compassionate and effective treatment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical examinations across diverse age groups.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and injuries with evidence-based approaches.
- Manage pain relief strategies and coordinate appropriate referrals for specialized care when necessary.
- Provide pediatric care, including preventive health measures and immunizations.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Document clinical encounters accurately using electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Collect relevant data for quality improvement initiatives and research purposes.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate home care services for eligible patients to ensure continuity of care outside the clinical setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.
Skills
- Prior hospital experience is preferred, demonstrating ability to manage complex cases in acute care settings.
- Experience in research related to family medicine or primary care is advantageous.
- Proven expertise in managing acute care scenarios, pain management protocols, pediatrics, and patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and proficiency in using electronic health records platforms such as MedAccess and Cerner.
- Background in medical office operations, data collection for quality metrics or research projects, and medication administration procedures.
- Experience providing home-based care services is a plus. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Pay: $128,208.76-$443,154.25 per year
