Role summary
The Director of Finance will be part of a dynamic team, provide day-to-day support and will report directly to the CFO. Additionally, the Director will contribute to various functions within our Finance team. If you are passionate about delivering first-class service to investors and have an interest in capital markets, this position is an excellent fit for you!
Key Responsibilities
· Support the setup of an Investment Fund within Pacific Reach, including support in obtaining EMD license and accredited Dealing Representative and Advising Representative status.
· Directing the financial priorities including reporting, controls, financing, audit, tax structuring of the investment fund.
· Act as the Dealing Representative under an EMD license, including performing KYC responsibilities.
· Coordinate and perform special projects as requested
Required Qualification and Skills
· Mandatory: CPA designation with Public Practice experience. A bachelor’s degree or working experience in the finance industry.
· Prefer: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and/or Exempt Market Dealer Course
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex investment concepts to investors
· Strong knowledge and understanding of the public securities markets
· Highly organized and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Compensation
Base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 a year plus bonus, pension, and attractive benefits.
Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
