Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support our order picking team for both local and international orders.
Core Responsibilities
- Picking orders for local and shipping accounts
- Performing quality checks
Detailed Duties
- Pick fresh, frozen, and dry goods and prepare them for shipping
- Prepare boxes and materials for shipping orders
- Pack seafood items as required for shipping
- Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely
- Report any damaged or spoiled products to supervisors
- Label products and boxes according to shipping and regulatory requirements
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment (protective gear provided)
