Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychologist to join our team for educational assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children within educational or clinical settings, with a focus on evaluating learning and developmental needs. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments to support students' educational planning and ensuring their individual needs are met through accurate diagnosis and tailored recommendations. Duties
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in educational settings, utilizing standardized testing and observational techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to gather relevant information regarding student performance and behavior.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment findings, diagnoses, and recommended interventions or accommodations.
- Provide expert consultation on special education needs, behavioral strategies, and support plans for students with diverse learning challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment procedures, results, and follow-up actions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss assessment outcomes and assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Stay current with research developments in educational psychology, special education, and related fields to ensure best practices are applied.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed psychologist.
- Experience working with children in clinical, school, or hospital environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospital procedures, medical terminology, and patient care protocols is a plus.
- Strong skills in research methodologies, data collection, and analysis related to psychological testing.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and assessment tools used for educational evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators.

Pay: $180.00-$300.00 per hour
