Sullivan & Bleeker is a 100% peanut and tree nut free bakery based in North York. We are looking for a Cupcake Decorator to join our production team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Scooping, frosting, and finishing cupcakes to Sullivan & Bleeker’s quality standards
- Communicating daily stock needs for batter and frosting to the mixing department
- Working with the production team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout your shift
- Supporting other areas of the bakery as needed, including packaging, labelling, order assembly, and general production tasks. This is a team environment and everyone pitches in where they’re needed.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year of experience decorating in a bakery or commercial kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail – our customers expect consistency and quality on every cupcake
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Someone who takes direction well and communicates clearly with the team
About the role:
This is a production role on the bakery floor, not a desk job. While cupcake decorating is the core of the position, you will also be expected to support the broader production team. Some days that means decorating all day, other days it means helping with packaging, assembly, or whatever the team needs to get out the door. If you’re someone who only wants to decorate and nothing else, this isn’t the right fit. If you take pride in your work and care about the team getting it right every time, we want to hear from you.
