Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and managing transactions
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting with excellent time management skills
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and hospitality best practices
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions
Pay: $19.00-$28.17 per hour
