A Maze N Fun Inc. is looking for reliable, friendly, and energetic Festival Attendants to join our team for a one-day Canada Day event in Timmins, Ontario.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for casual event work, extra summer income, or experience working at a fun community event.
Position Overview
Festival Attendants help keep our event areas safe, organized, and enjoyable for families and guests. Team members may be assigned to monitor inflatable attractions, assist with crowd flow, answer guest questions, support wristband/check-in areas, or help with general event setup and cleanup.
Safety is our top priority. Attendants must stay alert, engaged, and visible while supervising their assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inflatable attractions and/or activity areas
- Help guests enter and exit attractions safely
- Watch for unsafe behaviour and communicate concerns to supervisors
- Provide friendly customer service to families and event guests
- Assist with line control and crowd flow
- Help keep the event area clean and organized
- Assist with setup and teardown as needed
- Follow instructions from team leads and event supervisors
- Work outdoors in a busy festival environment
Requirements
- Must be reliable and available on July 1, 2026
- Must be able to stand and remain attentive for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in a busy public event setting
- Friendly, professional, and able to communicate clearly with guests
- Able to follow safety rules and supervisor direction
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the event site in Timmins
- Previous event, customer service, recreation, camp, or festival experience is an asset but not required

Schedule
This is a one-day position for Canada Day. Exact shift times will be confirmed before the event.
Important Pay Note
The advertised rate of $30.00 per hour already includes the applicable statutory holiday pay/premium for working on Canada Day. No additional statutory holiday multiplier will be added on top of the advertised rate.
