Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Private Swim Instructor to provide personalized swimming lessons to clients of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching abilities, excellent swimming skills, and a professional demeanor to foster a positive learning experience, with a certified Red Cross Lifesaving society certification
Duties
- Conduct one-on-one or small group swimming lessons tailored to each client's skill level and goals
- Assess each student's progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during lessons to maintain a secure environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding progress, schedules, and safety guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized lesson areas and equipment
- Promote water safety awareness and best practices in all instructional sessions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching swimming or related aquatic instruction preferred
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate proper techniques confidently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds
- Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid, Lifesaving society certification is required
- Passion for teaching and helping others develop water confidence and skills
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional instruction in a safe environment
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
