Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive high-quality food and a positive dining experience. Prior experience in food service is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic and a passion for the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches and food items according to company standards
- Follow instructions and guidance from the Team Leader and management
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for daily operations
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Assist with general kitchen duties and opening/closing tasks as required
- Remove garbage and support end-of-day cleaning procedures
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
