Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative specializing in Steel Fabrication to join our team. This role involves developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and promoting our steel fabrication solutions across various industries in Ontario and Quebec. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets to expand the company's client base.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our steel fabrication services.
- Develop tailored solutions based on client needs, leveraging technical knowledge of steel fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand technical specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare and deliver pre-sales proposals, quotes, and contracts that align with client expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements relevant to steel fabrication and associated IT solutions such as AWS, Azure, VMware, Linux, and Python integrations.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our services and expand professional networks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical or product sales within the steel fabrication or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in pre-sales activities including product demos and technical presentations.
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and develop effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with sales strategies, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and negotiation techniques.
- Technical background or familiarity with analysis tools related to steel fabrication processes is a plus.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in the field while coordinating with internal teams for successful project delivery.
