WSC Financial Solutions is a multi-advisor corporation associated with Sun Life Financial, located in Oakville, Ontario. We are a 15-member team, specializing in financial planning, wealth management and insurance strategies. Our clients include higher net worth individuals and families, business owners, professionals, and group insurance clients. Our focus is client-centric and framed by a belief in financial planning, regular reviews, and ongoing client touch points. What do you bring?
- 5+ years experience in mutual funds & insurance administration.
- Familiarity with mutual fund and insurance related terms, processes, account types, and products & solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
- Comfort interacting with high net-worth clients, prospects and centres of influence.
- Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize work within time constraints, stay on top of follow-ups, and maintain accuracy in a fast paced, high-volume practice.
- Attention to detail; understanding and adherence to compliance requirements.
- You work well with others and enjoy contributing to a team environment.
- Mutual Funds license and/or Insurance License (LLQP) preferred but not mandatory. We value your experience.
- PC, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Univeris knowledge is an asset.
What would you be doing?
Core responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with advisors' meeting preparation materials and post-meeting administrative tasks.
- Managing accurate entry, processing and follow up of both insurance and wealth products, including opening accounts, transactions, executing transfers, redemptions, and deposits for both nominee and client held accounts.
- Oversight of all client forms including prefilling information, managing signature completion, and ensuring accuracy of fund codes and fee structures.
- Providing excellent customer service and being responsive to client inquiries; documenting communication and following up as required.
- Attending client meetings with advisors; developing relationships with clients.
- Coordinating with Sun Life and third-party head offices for processing.
- Understanding and managing compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Following processes for efficient and consistent handling of duties.
- Participating in regular team meetings, we value your feedback and ideas to continuously improve the way we work.
Hybrid Working model and 4.5-day work week:
Our team works in the Oakville office from Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays. We also offer a 4.5-day work week with Fridays afternoons off. A healthy life-work balance is highly encouraged at WSC.
