Job Summary
Seeking a Project Manager for continuous, FULL-TIME employment in Ottawa, Ontario.
This is a rare opportunity to work with a team that maintains and preserves some of the most important and historically significant buildings in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, change pricing and ensure alignment with project goals
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors or consultants for flawless execution
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and issues early and implementing solutions
- Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders, clients, and team members
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and company policies
- Prepare and present project status reports, forecasts, and documentation
- Manage submittals, scope changes, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets effectively to avoid overruns
- Foster teamwork and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and quality
- Conduct project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned
- Track and report project metrics
- Resolve conflicts or resource constraints that may impact project delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Adapt to shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility in problem-solving
- Ability to obtain a government of Canada security clearance
- Any other duties related to the position
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management roles of minimum 4 years, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control principles
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously under tight deadlines, including management of subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with risk management, quality assurance, and change order processes
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively.

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
