Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold company standards.
- Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, POS system management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff through effective onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Handle payroll administration, budgeting tasks, and bookkeeping to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote products and enhance the store’s visibility within the community.
- Maintain organized store layouts, monitor sales trends using data analysis, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize profitability.
- Foster a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail management or a similar role with a strong background in team leadership.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and sales management.
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, purchasing procedures, and cash handling protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with effective phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in marketing strategies within retail settings is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in math is essential for accurate financial management.
